Description
Alone in Grandfather Mountain State Park, I had just walked across the bridge in the sky, standing on a rock that overlooked the park and the land surrounding it for miles. Further down the path, I saw this kid whom I had passed by earlier. Right as I turned to him, he put his hands up. We both just kinda understood. I took the picture and never saw him again. I'll remember the sound I heard walking back across the bridge. I can't even begin to describe it, but I had the weirdest feeling on that bridge that I still think about sometimes.
